This is a photo that I took at home of Sebastien when he was 11 1/2 months old.He is now a year and a week old.The photo is a tad over exposed.I am new to the show world and looking for feedback or comments on what you think of him.
I've shown him 3 times and have been told that he's nice and moves very well. His only detriment is his size.He is a just under 4lbs,I'm sure he'll make 4 1/2 lbs by the time he's 18 months old...he has alot of filling out to do.

Its a lot easier to finish a small boy than a small girl. He has a beautiful head and a deep rich blue coat.

Do you think you can get us a video of the littel guy in action? Movement is so important. With the little ones, it is helpful if they are good movers.

He's a very pretty boy! Honestly, I would be very happy with a boy that size at that age. It should not enter into the equation. He'll mature to at least 5 lbs. I know they mature at different ages in different lines, but I think most breeders would be surprised if they weighed their 4-lb yearlings when they turned 3 years old, especially the boys. Ours have continued to "body out" or gain bone and muscle until they're 3. Most show breeders I've spoken with are shooting for a 5-6 lb individual, but will show a smaller or larger one if it has other exceptional qualities. Size is just one trait. He really looks to have enough frame size to hold 5- 5-1/2 lbs.

Best of luck with Sebastien.

I will try to get a video at some point , it will be difficult as we are not out as much now...getting quite cold here on Quebec.I will aim for an inside video on a bright day (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

You have given me hope that he will fill out a fair bit.I'm sure he will as I can still feel his back bone and hips....too funny ! His sister Beatrice just turned 2 last month and I can see and feel a big difference in her.She was like that a year ago when I really think about it.Sebastien is taller than her by a fair bit and they weigh almost the same,he is a little heavier than her.
Here is a photo of the 2 of them together taken a week and a half ago.

Agree - given him some time. You may want to put him in the ring for a bit, then pull him and allow him to grow into himself (long coats are also helpful with yorkies!).

He's looking great! Nice and square and his blue is nice, dark without any gold.
