The Mighty Mite Small Dog Sports Forum is a message board for people who train, show or would like to learn more about training or showing small dogs (dogs less than 16 inches at the shoulder). The purpose of this forum is to provide members and guests with the information and resources to assist and further their small dog training/showing interest. You will find plenty of links and detailed discussions in our forum. At Mighty Mite, we give real respect to the smallest members of the canine community!!!!

We consider ourselves a "community" and wish that everyone within that community treat one another with respect. We welcome and encourage debate as well as varying viewpoints concerning training and social issues affecting the dog fancy. The forum welcomes all breeds and mix breeds alike. Discussion concerning any dog registry, association or club is permitted. Controversial topics are allowed. However, while we are very tolerant of opposing viewpoints, we do not tolerate disrespectful remarks or personal attacks. Members who cannot abide by these standards will be asked to leave.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law. If your information comes from another source, we ask that you give credit to your source (please cite your sources!). We consider the involvement of children and young adults in dog sports and activities vital to the dog fancy and, therefore, this forum is open to people of all ages; as such, we wish to maintain a wholesome environment. Please avoid using profane, sexual explicit or vulgar language. In brief: PLEASE "PLAY NICE"!

This message board DOES allow and ENCOURAGES cross-posts of commercial items, other forums, services, information sources etc. – but only for those items/issues that are directly related to the forum's mission or of direct interest/benefit to forum members and ONLY BY ACTIVE MEMBERS. We wish to make this a place that provides "one stop shopping" for people looking for more information about dog training and dog sports, however, if your only post in this forum is a link to a commercial site or product, please be aware that it will be treated as SPAM and will be deleted.

There is absolutely no selling of puppies, dogs or other animals tolerated in the public forum. Solicited inquires are permitted through Private Messaging only. This forum is privately owned and does not permit or endorse the advertisement of commercial breeding establishments. However, any member may post concerning dogs for adoption in the performance adoption section of the forum.

The board is open to guests to visit and read, however, if you wish to maintain membership with our board, with all the associated bells and whistles activated and the right to participate in guest chats, you MUST POST AT LEAST ONCE within the first THREE MONTHS (3 months) from the time you sign up. You also must post AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR. Remember, this cannot be simply an advertisement for your website or a product you sell. The board is subject to periodic pruning. If you fail to meet these guidelines, your membership will be deleted. It is just not fair to active members and would-be members to use space up for people with dormant accounts.
